Step 3. Observe and manage your lists using My World-Trips' "My Places" panel (below).

Here you manage all your listings, organized by group. Only the places in the selected group appear in the upper table. In this example, our new place has been selected among place listings at the top. The media associated with this place appear in the lower table.

Bringing Places and Media Together

Step 1. Choose a place. For example, you might select Vienna, Austria using MyWorld-Trips database of cities.

Above. MyWorld-Trips displays a regional map for the selected city.

Click on a media file name and that file will be opened using the appropriate application located elsewhere on your Mac. MyWorld--Trips does not copy or alter your media files; it simply maintains a reference to them. To edit your list of media in your "My Places" collection, just drag in any additions you wish to make or drag out any that you wish to delete. In the example above, a seond media item was dragged into the media table.

That's Orcas Engineering's "My World-Trips".

Step 2. Link a chosen place with any media file using My World-Trip's "New Place" panel (below).

In this example, the location has been given a personalized name, "Great Pastries" and assigned to a group we've named "Favorites". A photo image of interest has been linked to this location by dragging it from elsewhere on the computer's Desktop and dropping it on the media table.
